I discovered Prague a few years ago because a friend settled there and since then I return there every year. I could see that it is a city that has changed a lot, especially in terms of decoration, art and fashion. So it is natural that I said “yes, yes” when the mom of a girlfriend of Andrea offers me to attend the fashion show of Jiri Kalfar, the Czech designer rising star in the world of fashion and who makes us honor to come to the Principality.
Jiri Kalfar is an innovative Czech designer who combines high fashion with his passion for environmental awarness and sustainability. Having originally trained as a ballet dancer, Jiri’s womenswear showcases his innate sense of movement and style and celebrates the freedom of the feminine soul, with free flowing silhouettes and a vibrant palette. Jiri uses folk-art inspired prints, ethically sourced materials and innovative cuts.
