It has only been open for a week and it’s now my new HQ! I reveal it to all my friends! This is the ideal place for a coffee break in the morning or in the afternoon (very reasonable coffee 2.50 €¶), for a lunch and even for a drink!
The place: in the center of the new district One Monte-Carlo, it is the second monegasque address for Marcel Ravin. He wanted to combine gastronomy and simplicity in a café, bistro or tea room depending on the time of day. The tones of pink and beige, the mixture of marble and leather make the atmosphere soft and soothing. Showcase pastries, open kitchen, large windows, all the ingredients for a successful moment.
The plate: it varies depending on the time of day! A healthy breakfast and tasty with delicious pastries, fresh bread, Tchôks of fruit and cottage cheese, a gluten free corner with breads, pastries, vegetable milks. At midday, gourmet salads with seasonal crudités, tasty little dishes like the “green” stew broccoli, rice venere & pistachio, the steamed salmon, kumbava and sweet potato. The “Mad’day” formula at 26 Euros (starter / main course or main course / dessert + water) or 32 Euros (starter / main course / dessert + water) The afternoon tea version Mada One: tea, scones jam & thick cream, sandwiches and pastries, all accompanied by a glass of Champagne. The time of “apero-therapy”, to soothe body and mind after a day of work or shopping, with delicious cocktails, a fine selection of wines and delicious bites to share. Not to miss:
# original creations such as the Munegu (means not only “Monaco” but, “the taste of people” in Creole) subtle blend between the Monegasque fougasse and Panettone, white and red.
#a totally unexpected and revisited version of the tchôk fruit pie. A real explosion of flavors on the palate and a presentation in a little jar to indulge in temptation in secret.
Everything can be to go!
