It is just two months old and it is 100% Italian. On the port Hercule, facing the pretty yachts, it was during a week night that I discovered Caffè Milano. This restaurant offers italian cuisine in a maritime setting : dark parquet, rope, stainless steel, color code in shades of blue. The decoration is signed by the agency ELKE Monte-Carlo. It feels like being in a yacht.
On the kitchen side, bread and pasta are home-made, the Pinsa (a very fine pizza) is one of their specialities, and the truffle pizza is a treat. Be prepared, all dishes are hearty : from ossobucco to fritto misto to Milanese schnizel. their wine list offers a very nice selection and for more reasonable people, the wine by glass is delicious.
